The storm is here, wet and wind picking up. Have attached pics of the Cossor

radio finished restoration. Working well with batteries for grid bias and valve filaments. 

An original mains battery eliminator for the 120 volt HT.

Robin 2M0JEP attended the last Club talk about building valves radios.  During the discussion he shared his passion for restoring old wireless sets telling us about some of his collection

He sent Nick G4IWO this message :

"What to do on a dreich Saturday in Caithness? I could hoover, dust, call cq or take part in a contest but no. More fun to restore a 1930 Cossor valve battery wireless. Have attached some photos.

Just renewed  my membership and look forward to more interesting talks."
